The Congress is trying its best to garner support from allies on the issue of Presidential candidate.TMC leader mamata banerjee arrived in Delhi last night and is expected to meet Prime Minister manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi today. However there is still no word on whether Mamata will support Hamid Ansari's candidature if he is propped up by the Congress. However sources in the TMC say that the party will support Pranab Mukherjee if he is nominated.
