Hillary to meet PM, Krishna over FDI - NewsX

After meeting the West Bengal CM, Hillary Clinton flies to New Delhi for meetings with the Central leadership - the External Affairs Minister and the Prime Minister - where efforts will be to repair economic and geo-political tensions.
The US Secretary comes to India with a definite wish list, which beside FDI in retail also includes talks on furthering Indo-US civil nuclear cooperation. US is also interested in steering India away from any degree of dependence on Iranian oil imports. India too would be seeking a reassurance from the U.S on Afghanistan, and clarity on a post-NATO withdrawal scenario in the region. New Delhi would also demand clarity on US stance over terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed, insisting on continuing pressure on Pakistan to act against terror agents inside its borders.
