Gujarat Congress MP Prabhaben Taviyad, broke into tears while her colleague girija vyas described Taviyad was harassed by gujarat govt officials . Taviyad says that she and her supporters were physically barred from participating in a function attended by the Gujarat CM despite possessing valid invitations. Taviyad has faced several intimadatory measures in the past, including being stopped from boarding a train and being picked up by police and dropped off on the highway 200 km away. The BJP's Sushma Swaraj who is also leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha promised to take up the issue with the Modi government.....The matter has now been referred to the parliamentary privileges committee.
