Trade union strike: Banking, transport sector hit badly-Newsx

Millions of workers from banking, insurance, mining and transport have gone on a strike across the country. Protesting against the labour policies of the government and rising prices. The strike has crippled transport, banking and other day-to-day services. The Delhi government has invoked Essential Services Maintenance Act for employees in the power sector. The Kerala government has invoked 'no work no pay' for government workers who go on strike.
