The Railway union has now threatened to go on strike over demands of rollback in rail fares. The Railway union has demanded 3000 crore rupees as a bailout package if the govt gives nod to rollback in rail fares. They have sought a meeting with the PM over the alleged rollback of train fares demanded by TMC. The union claims the fare hike as necessary owing to the poor financial health of the organization.
