India News : New Delhi: Eyeing an early general election in 2014, BJP has started making preparations already. The BJP in Delhi has resorted to a novel idea of protest against increase in onion prices. Despite demands from all quarters, the Union government has failed to control the price of onions.
In contrast to the onion rate of Rs. 50 a kilo that Congress will be selling in various outlets across the city, BJP will be selling onions at Rs. 40 per kilogram. BJP has accused the Congress of black marketing onions, thus, ripping into the pockets of common man.
