2 Italian naval guards arrested over Indian fishermen killings- NewsX

The two Italian naval guards, in custody of Kerala Police for the alleged killing of two Indian fishermen mid sea have been arrested today, after which they will be produced before a magistrate in Kollam in the evening. Kerala Police obtained the custody of Latorre Massimiliano and Salvatore Girone yesterday, after prolonged talks with the captain of Enrica Lexie .The two have been named in an FIR and charged with murder. The two Italian naval guards had opened fire and killed two Indian fishermen off the Kerala coast, reportedly mistaking them for pirates.
