Things going from bad to worse for the king of good times. A 24 hour deadline hangs over private carrier Kingfisher Airlines. Aviation Industry watchdog DGCA has asked Kingfisher to come up with a revised flight schedule, no later than tomorrow. The rap from the regulator comes after a spate of flight cancellations over the last 4 days forced the DGCA to step in. The DGCA has observed that only 28 out of 64 Kingfisher aircraft are operational at the moment. It has also ordered a safety surveillance of Kingfisher's aircraft and assured that salaries for December will be paid by the end of the month. After meeting DGCA, Kingfisher CEO Sanjay Aggarwal said they will start working on the new schedule for flights tomorrow.
