Delhi: The IB has reportedly warned that Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed is planing an attack on the national capital.

"Delhi has been put on high alert after the Intelligence Bureau flagged off an alert to the Delhi Police about 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed," CNN-IBN reported.

"The IB letter has outlined a specific threat to Delhi," the news channel reported quoting sources.

"The intelligence agency gathered inputs that Saeed could be planning an attack in Delhi," it reported quoting sources.

Saeed, who is a key accused in the 26/11 attack in Mumbai, led Eid prayers at Gaddafi Stadium in Pakistan's Lahore city on Friday.

The event was earlier advertised on posters across Lahore, media reports said.

Saeed, who has a $10 million bounty on his head by the US, is one of the most wanted terrorists by India.

He led Eid prayers in Lahore at a time when the relationship between India and Pakistan strained over the recent killing of five Indian soldiers by Pakistani troopers along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of

Jammu and Kashmir.

The five Indian soldiers were killed in an ambush by Pakistani troopers on Tuesday along the LoC.
