Sports Ministry omits Sachin's name for Bharat Ratna

Sachin Tendulkar is all set to miss the Bharat Ratna this year. The sports ministry has not recommended Sachin's name for the Bharat Ratna. The sports ministry did not forward Sachin's name as it had not received a recommendation from the BCCI proposing Sachin's name for the Bharat Ratna. The Sports Ministry has forwarded Dhyanchand and Tenzing Norgay's name in the list.
