Former additional solicitor General Vikas Singh has come out with a revelation about where the slip in the Abu Salem extradition bungle possibly lies. He has said that the letter from the then foreign minister Yashwant Sinha to the Portuguese govt lacked clarity on whether Abu Salem would be extradited or deported. And this is what is responsible for the legal technicalities the case is now caught in.
