India News: Former Bahujan Samajwadi Party MLA Sarvesh Kumar Singh alias Sipu and his two aides were shot dead on Friday by two unknown assailants in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
Soon after he was shot dead, his supporters started protesting against the state government and also set several vehicles on fire in the city. Uttar Pradesh ADG (law and order) Arun Kumar rushed to spot and said the situation is tense but under control.
