WB hooch tragedy: Death toll rises to 147; 10 arrested

The death toll in Bengal's hooch tragedy has gone up to 147. Though a CID probe has been ordered and 10 alleged culprits have been arrested, the kingpin is still at large. The West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is in the national capital on Friday. The onus is now on the Mamata govt to bring the guilty to book to ensure all those who have a hand in this illicit racket whether illicit liquor brewers or local police and administration are brought to book.
