Major fire at Kolkata hospital; 40 trapped

A major fire erupted in Kolkata's Amri hospital in the wee hours of today.Fire department sources say that as many as 25 patients have been evacuated so far and 40 more are still trapped.Also, the hospital being located in a narrow lane and lack of is said to be hampering rescue operations.Over 25 fire tenders struggled to put out the fire.The West Bengal Urban Development Minister also reached the fire site and blamed hospital authorities saying that strict action should be taken against hospital authorities since their negligence led to the tragedy.
