India News : The Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) may form a coalition government in the state, sources said on Tuesday. As per the deal JMM leader Hemant Soren is likely to be made Jharkhand Chief Minister.

The decision on government formation will be taken at the Congress core group meeting in new Delhi on Tuesday evening.

Jharkhand has been under the President's rule after the JMM-BJP alliance broke on January 18, 2013. The alliance broke-up after the JMM withdrew support from the BJP government.
