Modi Govt challenges appointment of Lokayukta

After state Governor appointed R A Mehta as the Lokayukta, BJP government has challenged the decision in High Court. They claim that the new Lokayukta was appointed unconstitutionally. New Lokayukta justice R A Mehta has not reacted to the issue yet, but the Gujarat government has made him party in the case.
