India News: Politician's demand N. Srinivasan's resignation

IPL 6 is over but the spot-fixing and betting scandal in the Twenty20 tournament has become a never ending nightmare. The scandal has also reached BCCI chief and Chennai Super Kings owner N Srinivasan's doorsteps but he continually refuses to step down.
Even as Srinivasan has brazenly tried to retain his chair, the silence of other top BCCI functionaries has been extremely baffling. Politicians though keep up the demand for his resignation.
Several Congress and BJP leaders are BCCI officer bearers. The BCCI has politicians like BJP's Arun Jaitley and Narendra Modi; Congress leader Rajiv Shukla and Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference.
But they have refused to act against Srinivasan and seem to be silently fixing the situation in favour of Srinivasan. None of the BCCI leaders have forcefully raised their voices against Srinivasan.
All the parties have been very vocal on corruption and have demanded the scalp of their opponents whenever there has been a scam. But all seems to be favorable for N. Srinivasan who refuses resignation.
Million dollar question is : Will he ever resign ?
