Brazil: Protests Demand Cunha's Resignation

Women's organizations and social movements demonstrated in Rio de Janeiro yesterday to demand the resignation of Brazilian Chamber of Deputies president Eduardo Cunha. Protesters denounced Cunha for promoting a reform of the law on victims of sexual violence that would deny them the morning after pill. The 5,000 strong demonstration also denounced Cunha for corruption following reports that he has five bank accounts in offshore tax havens. teleSUR
