Godhra riots probe: Modi's govt suspends whistleblower cop
  • 5 years ago
Whistleblower police officer Sanjeev Bhatt has been suspended. The Gujarat Government suspended the 1988-batch IPS officer on the basis that his conduct was unbecoming of an IPS officer. Bhatt was served a five-page suspension letter at his residence. It may be noted that the suspension comes three days after Bhatt's affidavit in the Supreme Court nailing the Gujarat Government over 2002 post-Godhra riots.
