India News : Finally, central leadership of BJP has decided to shift focus on UP.
To start with, a close confidante of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and former Gujarat home minister Amit Shah would be in the state on May 29 to court arrest in protest against the price rise, corruption and safety and security of the people of the state.
Amit Shah's programme in the state is part of the planned nationwide protest by the BJP from May 27 until June 2. With this, speculations that Amit Shah might be made incharge of UP in the state has gained further weight. Party insiders said that the announcement to this effect could be made anytime soon.
