The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party has slammed Rahul's padyatra in western UP as 'theatrics'. It says that if he is really sincere, he should ask the Centre to formulate a pro-farmer land acquisition policy and visit Congress-ruled states where farmers are facing real problems.
