The chorus of protests across the country demanding speedy justice for the accused in the Delhi death-rape incident grew louder on Sunday after the girl's death. Prayers, candle-light vigils and rallies as part of spontaneous protests continued to be held in a sombre atmosphere of grief in several cities. The demand for death sentence to the six accused has been growing stronger by each passing day.
