Meanwhile, the much-hyped '181' toll-free helpline for women in the National Capital has run into technical glitches. Indicating once again the slip-shod approach of the government in ensuring women's safety.
It was heavily advertised that the the Chief Minister's Helpline would be accessible from today. But so far it isn't functional .
The helpline was announced in the aftermath of the gangrape of 23 year old girl Damini. It will function from the CM's office and will be connected to all the 185 police stations in Delhi.
