Right after the Hanoi summit wrapped early, U.S. President Donald Trump phoned Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
According to Japan's Kyodo News Agency, Abe told reporters that Tokyo is fully supportive of President Trump's determination to continue concrete discussions and achieve denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Abe also said he's determined to hold his own summit with the North Korean leader.
As for China,... its foreign minister, Wang Yi, said although there was no agreement during the Hanoi summit, it's important for both countries to keep talking.
