Kim and Trump likely to hold summit in Gov't Guest House and Sofitel Hotel

So there are several places that Kim and Trump might meet.
There's also the question of where they'll stay in Hanoi.
Nothing's official yet, but we can narrow it down a fair bit.
Our Park Hee-jun has this report. For the Singapore summit,... major locations for the meeting were revealed one week ahead of the event.
Only a couple of days remain until the second North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi,... but there are no announcements yet regarding the venues.

A source told Arirang News that a special security protocol has been put in place by the Vietnamese government... for seven major locations across the city.
Numerous outlets have pointed to the Government Guest House as the most preferred location for the summit.
More security guards have been stationed there to protect the perimeters.
And the guest house is bustling with people who are gardening and painting the building.
Workers there say the renovation will be finished within two days,... just in the nick of time for the summit.

The Sofitel Legend Metropole is also a likely location.
Kim Chang-son, Kim Jong-un’s close aide who's been placed in charge of protocol,... has been seen visiting the hotel many times.
The InterContinental Hanoi Westlake was also believed to be a possible venue.
But an employee told Arirang News that the hotel is not expecting to host any key events from the summit,... as there are too many accessible routes to the hotel which could be a security concern.
Rather, he says various officials and members of the press are likely to stay there.

As for Kim and Trump's accommodations,... President Trump will reportedly be staying at the JW Mariott.
For the North Korean leader,... the Melia Hotel seems most likely.
An employee told Arirang that Kim Jong-un will be staying at the hotel,... adding that VIP rooms have been secured for Kim and are being prepared for his visit.

"As of now, it's difficult to say for sure which venues will be used for the two leaders' accommodation and their second summit. But these areas show heightened security and busy movements,... making it highly likely that they will be among these venues. Park Hee-jun, Arirang News, Hanoi."
