S. Korea's lowest income bracket averages 63 years old

South Korea has long struggled with a high rate of poverty among the elderly.
The latest data show those with the lowest incomes were, on average, older than ever last year.
Statistics Korea says those in the bottom 20-percent income bracket,... in the fourth quarter,... were on average 63 years old.
That's 12 years older than they were in 2003.
In the second-lowest income bracket were on average 54 years old, up 10 years from before.
The highest earners, in the top 20 percent, were only 5 years older, though, at an average ago of 50.
