GST Council should not rush through crucial legislations like real estate and lottery, says Punjab FM

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley adjourned the 33rd meeting of the GST council to February 24, as some opposition ruled states sought a physical meeting. The finance ministers of these states have argued that decisions on crucial issues like real estate and lottery should not be taken at a meeting held through video conferencing. In fact, Delhi's finance minister Manish Sisodia said that there was major disagreement on both these issues within the council.
