IGP Sindh Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam awarded one lac rupees cash reward and appreciation certificate to SSU Commando representing Sindh Police Khan Saeed Afridi for his outstanding performance in International Boxing Championship.

IGP Sindh Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam awarded one lac rupees cash reward and appreciation certificate to SSU Commando representing Sindh Police Khan Saeed Afridi for his outstanding performance in International Boxing Championship.

On the occasion, IGP Sindh directed DIGP Operations Maqsood Ahmed to take all possible measures to attract police officers and personnel towards healthy sports activities, and to ensure the participation of talented police officers and personnel in martial arts and boxing events internationally, so as to make Sindh Police and Pakistan proud.

IGP Sindh further directed DIGP Operations to setup a boxing school at provincial level and to make necessary arrangements in regards to logistic support and needy resources.

DIGP Operations informed that SSU Commando Khan Saeed Afridi representing Sindh Police acquired 04 gold medals, 02 silver medals & 02 bronze medals in two international competitions, Thai Martial Arts and Muaythai Championship – 15.02.2019.
