DIG SECURITY DR. MAQSOOD AHMED HONOURED WITH SHIELD AND MEDAL BY THE GOVERNOR SINDH KAMRAN KHAN TESSORI
DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed has been conferred with a shield and medal in recognition of his services during flood relief operation by the Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori in the Governor House Sindh.
Dr. Maqsood Ahmed currently heading the Security & Emergency Services Division, was appointed as a focal person of the Flood Relief Operations during the crises on the directives of IG Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon.
The DIG commanded the flood relief activities during the crisis. Establishment of Flood relief camps, distribution of ration in flood affected areas, free grand medical camps in Dadu and Kandiaro, provision of volunteers and security to the welfare organizations, distribution of breakfast at the residential camps for flood affectees, bringing flood affectees to the stadium and the safe return of flood affectees to their homes were the notable steps of relief operation supervised by DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed.
During the meeting, Governor Sindh also discussed the overall law and order situation and the security arrangements made in context of Pakistan Super League matches. Governor Sindh also appreciated the quick response and valour of police force and Rangers during the attack on Karachi Police Office.
