India ended the opening day’s play of the first Test in Adelaide on 250/9. The Indian batters were poor on the first day, barring Cheteshwar Pujara. While India kept losing wickets, Pujara held the other end and scored an impressive century. It was Pujara’s 16th Test ton. Pujara was eventually dismissed on 123 just minutes before the close of play.
