Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized the farmers’ scheme introduced by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in the Interim Budget 2019. Rahul claimed that the whole scheme is a disrespect for farmers. Rahul’s comments came after the budget was announced by the Modi-government. The government presented a scheme for farmers where the farmers will be provided with Rs 6,000 per year under the Kisan Samman Nish. A sum of Rs 75,000 crore was allocated for the scheme by the finance minister.
