With the Budget 2019 session scheduled for tomorrow, taxpayers are expecting some major relief from the Modi government. Speculation is rife that the Modi government might increase the income tax exemption from Rs 2.5 lakh currently to Rs 5 lakh. It essentially means that individuals earning up to Rs 5 lakh will no longer have to pay income tax.


मोदी सरकार ने आयकर छूट की सीमा 2.5 लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर सीधे 5 लाख रुपये कर दिया है. इस तरह से मोदी सरकार अंतरिम बजट में आयकर छूट की सीमा बढ़ाकर मिडिल क्लास को खुश कर दिया है. इस ऐलान से पहले टैक्स स्लैब में 2.5 लाख रुपये से ज्यादा की आय पर 5 फीसदी का टैक्स लगता है.
