President Trump Agrees to Super Bowl Interview With CBS The pre-taped interview with
Margaret Brennan will air on the
network's 'Face the Nation' on Feb. 3. Other parts of the interview will air on CBS's Super Bowl pre-game telecast. A pre-Super Bowl presidential interview is tradition, but Trump did not sit down with NBC before last year's big game. Former President Barack Obama conducted an interview every year
of his presidency. Trump's interview will come two days before
he is expected to deliver his postponed
State of the Union Address. President Trump accepted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's invite to deliver the speech on Feb. 5. Super Bowl LIII will
be broadcast live at
6:30 p.m. EST by CBS, featuring a matchup between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams.
