Kendall Jenner and other models feeling heat from Fyre Festival

NEW YORK — Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber among other top model to be subpoenaed for Fyre Festival scam, reports Billboard.

The Fyre Festival was on fire alright — but more the "crash and burn" type of fire. And now two years later, things are still going down in flames.

According to Billboard, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Emily Ratajkowski among other models are expected to be subpoenaed as part of the festival's bankruptcy filing. Back in 2017, the models used their social media presence to sucker unsuspecting rich, gullible millennials to the chaotic music festival.

Hadid, Bieber and Ratajkowski also shot a promotional video where they were seen frolicking on pristine white beaches. Meanwhile, Jenner was said to have received $250,000 in January 2017 to promote the event. She was also included in the festival's pitch to investors.

In case you've forgotten, the so-called "luxury" music festival the girls were promoting promised attendees "two transformative weekends" in the Bahamas along with gourmet meals, performances by Blink-182 and Migos, modern eco-friendly accommodations... The list goes on.

But what guests found upon arrival were disaster relief tents with wet mattresses, no running water, portable toilets, really sad meals, oh, and Blink-182 canceled their appearances days before the festival. According to Rolling Stone, tickets were priced between $5,000 and $250,000.

Fyre Festival organizer Billy MacFarland has since been sentenced to six years in prison in October and has to forfeit $26 million.

Hulu and Netflix both recently released their own versions of the behind the scenes of the disastrous music festival.
