A 39-year-old babysitter has been charged at the Sibu magistrate's court with the murder of a nine-month-old boy three weeks ago.

Hayati Yaman was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code with allegedly causing the death of Aariz Harraz Zahim Azman at her illegal child care centre in Jalan Permai on Jan 7.

The court set Feb 28 for mention of the case.
