Books and Authors: In conversation with author of 'Less' Andrew Sean Greer

Hindustan Times caught up with author of ‘Less’ Andrew Sean Greer at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2019. He spoke about his book and said, “It took me five years but I will admit that I actually tried to write another book and threw it away and spend a year pouting and then another year deeply depressed and then I wrote this in about a year and a half, very quickly. After throwing away all the other ideas it happened very quickly because I got to steal from the previous book I’ve been writing which was sort of too wistful, too sad book about a character not anything like this one and then it changed into this.”
