Wang Qishan says China economy stable

Chinese Vice-president Wang Qishan said he remains optimistic about China’s economy, despite the country posting its slowest economic growth rate in nearly three decades. China’s economy has been weighed down by a trade war with the United States. While the nations agreed to a 90-day truce in December 2018, the trade dispute could further escalate if they cannot reach a deal by a March 1 deadline.
