deaths annually. FDA recalls of produce and processed food increased 2% from 2013 to 2018, while hazardous meat recalls increased
by 83%. The report suggests the FDA start testing "water used for irrigation or watering of produce for hazardous pathogens." According to the USDA and FDA,
food safety inspectors are still
at work despite the partial
