Floor leaders of South Korea's 3 minor opposition parties reveal joint electoral reform proposal

The floor leaders of South Korea's minor opposition parties have unveiled their joint proposal for electoral reform,.... urging the ruling Democratic Party and the main opposition Liberty Korea Party to come up with an agreement on a revised proposal *before the end of this month.
The proposal includes.... plans to increase the number of lawmakers to 3-hundred-30.... and a complete implementation of the mixed-member proportional representation system.
The MMP representation system is a German-style electoral system.... in which parliamentary seats are tied to the percentage of voters' support for different parties.
They criticized the ruling party's recent proposal,.... calling it only a partial application of the MMP system.
The floor leaders also hit out at the main opposition party for not even submitting their own proposal... and only criticizing other parties' proposals.
