Davos Forum begins amid gloomy economic outlook, geopolitical tensions
  • 5 years ago
The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum kicked off on Tuesday, with hundreds of the world's political and business elite gathering in Davos.
They are due to discuss ongoing trade disputes,... an anticipated global economic slowdown, Brexit and geopolitical tensions.
Due to such concerns,... a significant number of countries won't be taking part in the alpine meeting.
Out of the world's seven largest economies, only the leaders of Japan, Germany and Italy are due to attend.
Leaders of some non-G7 countries, including India and Russia, have also decided to stay at home.
