The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum kicks off on Tuesday, with hundreds of political and business leaders from around the globe gathering in the Swiss town of Davos.
During the four-day meeting,... they are likely to discuss various points of concern including ongoing trade disputes,... an anticipated economic slowdown, Brexit and geopolitical tensions.
Due to such concerns,... as well as problems at home,... a significant number of countries won't be taking part in the alpine meeting.
Out of the world's seven largest economies, only the leaders of Japan, Germany and Italy are due to attend the conference.
Some leaders of non-G7 countries including India and Russia have also decided not to attend.
