The IMF has trimmed its global growth forecast by 20 bps to 3.5 percent for 2019 and by 10 bps to 3.6 percent for 2020. It however retained its India forecast at 7.3 percent. Shereen Bhan caught up with Gita Gopinath Chief Economist at IMF to discuss the forecast.
