Cold weather in Toronto causes rainbow-like refraction in the sky
  • 5 years ago
This video, filmed in Toronto, Canada, shows a rainbow-like effect in the sky as a result of the cool weather.

The filmer told Newsflare the phenomenon was caused by the ice crystals formed in freezing temperatures refracting sunlight in the clouds, creating a soft rainbow-coloured effect in the sky.

This was filmed at around 1 pm on January 17.
