British Prime Minister Theresa May will stay in office for now after she survived a no-confidence vote in parliament.
It comes less than a day after Tuesday's devastating defeat for her Brexit deal.

Aram…what's the latest?

Well Mark… Mrs. May's government managed to survive the no confidence by only 19 votes.
This is by no means a victory for the prime minister as the slim margin still suggests MPs are losing trust in her government.
The confidence vote was called by the opposition Labour Party in the wake of May's crushing defeat on her divorce deal.
The prime minister vowed to work with parliament to move with the Brexit process.

"…….I believe this duty is shared by every member of this House and we have a responsibility to identify a way forward that can secure the backing of the House. To that end I have proposed a series of meetings between senior parliamentarians and representatives of the government over the coming days and I would like to invite the leaders of parliamentary parties to meet with me individually and I would like to start these meetings tonight."

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn, meanwhile, said he was not willing to enter talks with the prime minister until she ruled out a no deal Brexit.

"……Before there can be any positive discussions about the way forward, the government must remove clearly, once and for all, the prospect of the catastrophe of a no deal Brexit from the EU and all the chaos that would come as a result of that…."

With only about two months left until Britain is scheduled to leave the EU, there is still not clear way forward.
There are several options that could happen from now;…. to delay the exit, renegotiate the divorce agreement, crash out without a deal, or hold another referendum and not exit at all.
Mrs. May has a few days to come with an alternative Brexit deal, which she said she would put up for debate in parliament on Monday.
