Mayawati's disrespect will amount to my disrespect: Akhilesh Yadav

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) have announced their tie-up for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Both parties said they will contest on 38 seats each, while two seats will be left for other parties. In a stern message to his party workers, SP president Akhilesh Yadav said that any disrespect of Mayawati will mean disrespect of him. The two parties have come together after decades of political rivalry and hope to give the "Modi-Shah combine sleepless nights" ahead of the national election later this year.
