BSP will fight the Chattisgarh polls with Ajit Jogi: Mayawati

Mayawati on Thursday announced that BSP would fight the Chattisgarh polls with Ajit Jogi’s Janata Congress Chattisgarh. “We have decided that in Chattisgarh, we will form an alliance to contest polls with Ajit Jogi. He has been an IAS and been with the government for long as an MP and Chief Minister of Chattisgarh. He has experience in running a government and keeps every stratum in mind. Keeping that in mind, we have come together to fight the polls and now we are announcing our decision. Of the total 90 seats in the state, BSP will fight 35 and Janata Congress Chattisgarh will fight 55.”
