Good afternoon. Not much to worry about temperature-wise, daily highs will be a couple of notches higher than yesterday, getting up to 5 degrees Celsius in Seoul, and double digits for Gwangju and Busan this afternoon with some cloudy weather expected. Meanwhile, light rain is in store for Jeju Island this evening.

The warm weather continues and it could even feel like early spring over the weekend with temperatures hovering way above the seasonal average.

Aside from warm temperatures, you will need to beware of very bad air quality today and into the weekend. The western parts of the country in particular will see polluted air, an ultra fine dust advisory is likely to expand to more areas as the day goes on. Keep a face mask with you when heading outside. Wash your hands frequently.

Most areas of China will also be blanketed with very bad air. Tokyo will have decent air quality.
