Speaking for the first time on the constitutional amendment bill passed by Lok Sabha to carve a new quota for the economically backward upper castes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ has been further strengthened by passing the bill. PM Narendra Modi said, “Yesterday late night, a historic bill was passed in Lok Sabha. By passing the bill regarding 10% reservation being granted to economically weaker section in the general category, our principle of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ has been further strengthened.”
