UN official in Seoul urges int'l cooperation on N. Korea human rights

The UN's Special Rapporteur on North Korean human rights is in Seoul for talks on ways to make progress on the issue.
On Monday, Tomas Ojea Quintana met with South Korea's vice ministers of unification and foreign affairs.
He expressed support for Seoul's efforts to build peace and prosperity on the Peninsula, and stressed that cooperation with the international community should be expanded to make progress on the humanitarian issue.
The officials explained Seoul will continue working to improve inter-Korean relations... ultimately with the goal of solving humanitarian issues and improving human rights.
