Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Manipur’s capital Imphal on Friday. He was received by Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh and other political and administrative leaders. He is set to inaugurate various developmental projects and lay the foundation stone for four other schemes during his visit. The Coordinating Committee (CorCom), which is a joint platform for separatist outfits of Manipur has called for a shutdown till PM Modi is in the city. Security has been tightened in entire state in view of his visit.
